The Lord of Miracles….Dhan Dhan Ram Das Gur…

” So please make him as your personal Guru. Hail him, heal the world, and then the world will find the gate of the Guru. That is why in Sikh Dharma we call it gate of the Guru…Guru-dwara. ‘Gate of the Guru.’ People will come themselves, find their own personal Guru.  All shall be healthy, happy and holy. And the grace of Guru shall prevail. May your days to come, may your self to live, and may your families to grow, have the virtuous shield of Guru Ram Das, forever, forever, forever, forever!”

Sikh Dharma Worldwide is happy to announce the launch of a 120-day Global Meditation in praise of Guru Ram Das Ji beginning October 10th.  During this time of transition in consciousness to what is known as the Aquarian Age, from planetary individual consciousness to group consciousness, from 11-11-11 through 2012, we will offer a series of 120-day meditations to call upon the guidance and healing of Guru Ram Das Ji, the fourth Sikh Guru, known for his compassion, humility and service.

From October 10, 2011 – February 6, 2012, we will meditate, sing, and chant with the beautiful shabad of miracles, Dhan Dhan Ram Das Gur Jin Siriaa Tinai Savaariaa, for at least 31 minutes daily.  We look forward to sharing many stories of the devotion and blessings of Guru Ram Das Ji, whose birthday we celebrate every year on October 9th.

From Sikhnet.com, print out the Gurumukhi & English of the Dhan Dhan Ram Das Gur shabad or from their Media Center, download and enjoy your choice of musical versions of this divine shabad.  Or find in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji on page 968.

Guru Ram Das holds a special place in the heart of the Sadh Sangat, as he did for the Siri Singh Sahib, and we look to him for guidance, for healing and for protection.  Enjoy with the Hacienda de Guru Ram Das Sangat in Espanola, New Mexico, USA, as communities all over the world gathered in the Amrit Vela, his birthday to sing His Praise…..

Prior to this event, for 11 days prior to his Gurpurb, beginning September 28th, we chant the ‘Dhan Dhan Ram Das Gur’ shabad for 31 minutes daily.  In many communities, ashram members, students, and friends gather each evening at a different family home and sing, followed by stories and langar.

In this short video, with Snatam Kaur and Ramdesh Kaur, from Spirit Voyage, Snatam Kaur talks alittle bit about the significance of the November 11, 2011 date.

Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa!

Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh!
